Went here last week Feb 17th. Amazing concert, the quartet were fantastic. Highly recommend, the church is amazing both inside and out, although the time of year that we went the church was very cold so wrap up warm.
The concert itself was fantasic however the venue was not!! We were cramed into what I can only discribe as the entrence to the crypt on the most unconfortable chairs!! Very disapointed and I wasn't the only one!! It would have been fab if it had been held in the church or any where else. I though it was very misleading to advertise it was been held in the crypt! The venue is a diservice to the fantasic musicians.
St Peters church has an impressive interior full of sculptures, gold, paintings and marvellous lighting. The atmosphere is perfect for the type of concert and the acoustics in the main church are superb! it was all organised well with about 150 people attending.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vienna. Note though that the concert was not held at the Crypt as mentioned in the tour information but rather on the main church but overall the concert was very enjoyable
