My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our day spent with Jeremy and 7 others as we toured the fish hatchery, Grouse Mt and Capilano Park. Jeremy was so informative as we took short rides in the van and then explored each site. Getting away from the beautiful city of Vancouver added so much to our trip. At the end of the day we felt like we had gotten some much needed exercise and learned so much more about Vancouver and its surrounding areas. The trip was well organized and perfect in every way.
This is an easy trip, just across the bridge in North Vancouver. It was raining the day we went, but that did not diminish the enjoyment. The tour guide was great and the hotel pickup was right on time. The bridge is amazing plus they have the added attractions of the Cliffwalk and the Treetop Adventure. You also have the opportunity to learn about the First Nations peoples. They have a nice gift shop and some snacking options as well. This was well worth the time to take this tour. Be aware though that during the peak time periods the attractions can get quite crowded.
But everytime I get a good guide it is worth the dollars for the experience. Kudos to Aubyn and Alexis for their expert guidance on both tours. Bother we’re knowledgeable of geo, history and logistics. To be a guide you have to be patient, fast on your feet and talk while driving and 10 million other things. I found this in both and a dash of humor.
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We got picked up from our hotel in Downtown Vancouver which was super convenient. Robin, our tour guide, was very pleasant to deal with and incredibly knowledgeable about the locations he took us to. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.
