Our guide (Nikko?) was incredible! Not only did we see the northern lights but we had so much fun driving around and talking with each other around the fire! Our driver and tour guide made the whole experience fun. We even got homemade soup and our tour guide’s favorite hot drink. Would highly recommend this tour!
The Tour departed on time. The Guide was very knowledgable and was very attentive. Our Tour had a few issues that added to the experience! Firstly we got stuck in deep snow and it took an hour to dig the mini bus out. Secondly the Driver put his foot down to make up time and got booked by the Police for speeding ! All rather surreal but added to the overall experience. The Guide could not do enough for the Group, working endlessly to make sure everyone was involved. Finally at 1.00am he light a fire on the beach of the Fjord, so we could cook sausages when the temperature was minus 20!
We not only saw the lights, but our Guide gave a running commentary explaining the science behind them. We eventually were dropped off at our hotel at about 2.30 am, having had a great evening. We returned back to the UK and within a few days we were emailed very good images of the lights taken during our particular Tour. We would thoroughly recommend this tour, but take your own shovel!
An amazing night. Picked up on time and taken by guide and driver on our search. We were not disappointed. 4 hours of incredible viewing of the northern lights along with a campfire, hot chocolate and hotdogs. Our cameras were not good enough but the guide sent us amazing photos the following day.
The tour was amazing, both our guide and driver were great and friendly. They were super attentive and I would definitely join this tour again (with the 2 of them). More importantly, they were very experience and interesting, this made the tour even more interesting than average. We have much fun!
The northern lights should be in your bucket list, and you should do it with this company.
The tour guide was so nice. Her name, and I hope to get it right, was Sokiah the german woman. She was so adorably nice and very informative.
At first, we were kind of worried it was too cloudy, but then, after changing the spots for a few times, we were blessed to see this spectacle. It was really beautiful.
What I really recommend to the people reading this, is that just enjoy this nature spectacle and to do not worry too much about the pictures, because they can appear just for a few random seconds.
We had an amazing experience with Polar Adventures! The tour guides were super nice, knowledgable and also patient with our lack of tolerance in the cold! Moreover, they also helped everyone with the camera settings to take nice pictures of the lights, and whoever didn't have a camera, the guides took pictures of them! After we watched the northern lights they also put some fire on and made great hot dogs and sandwiches for everyone! I would do it again and totally recommend the company and the tour! Thanks a lot!
