The private transfer was great. The driver was nice and pleasant to talk to. He accommodated my smoking, allowing me to stop and have a cigaret. Attentive to the heat, asking me if the a/c was ok. We arrived and connected me to the tour guide. The guide tried to do his best under the scorching sun, but I think he was a little too old for the walk. I felt sorry for him. But all and all, it was ok. I think he thought that I was there just for the pictures on the best houses.
I would've taken more time to wonder around. he took me to a rug house, I guess they make commission out of the sales. Then quickly took me to a restaurant that I didn't even choose. The restaurant didn't have most of what it was in the menu.
After eating, off we went.
We were promptly wisked away on our 2hour journey from Tanger City center to Chefchaouen where we met our guide. Our guide was thoroughly knowledgeable about the city and helped us navigate the narrow passages in the wonderful blue city. We wanted to wander on our own for a while which was a wonderful way to end the day before the return trip.
Excellent tour- our driver Abdel was excellent- the car was spotless and we were given so much information on our trip. At Chefchaouen Amed led us through this incredibly beautiful city and once again we learnt so much. If you only have one day in Tangier( as we did) I thoroughly recommend this trip
We loved our trip to Chefchaouen - this is a must do when in Morocco! Both our tour guide Mohammed and our driver Hamza to the town from Tangier were very friendly and helpful. They took our photo whenever we wanted, including along the drive in the countryside, and our tour guide led us to an authentic, well-priced Moroccan lunch. We got to see the beautiful blue alleys of the town, markets for shopping, and even went outside the medina to look back at the blue buildings nestled on the mountain. It was also cool going in the bakery where they bake the bread and the rug shop where a man was weaving a rug, though we were encouraged to buy one when we didn't want to.
Amazing trip! The driver from Tangier to Chefchouen was so great, he was always speaking and telling stories about Morocco. The guide in Chefchouen was also very nice. He explained everything clearly. There we took a very good meal. Me and my girlfriend loved the tour and we fully recommend it!
Great day - driver was on time, courteous, and professional. It was a nicer car and much better than some group bus. I also had the option to tailor how much time with the guide i wanted once to Chefchaouen and when I wanted to leave. It was a very smooth experience that made the trip stress-free and relaxing while allowing me the freedom to do what I wanted and when.
