The driver who according to the voucher should have picked us up at 9 am showed up at 9:35and informed us that we are not on his list and have to wait for the next bus that will arrive shortly. We 4 people and another couple who were waiting with us and received same response decided we will not wait on the pier for the next shutle to arrive after having waited for 35 minutes already. We hired another person who took us to our hotels in Sydney and paid twice for the same trip. Viator is expected to choose its operators more carefully and not expose us to fraud.
We waited for two hours and they never showed up. A wonderful lady at the pier used up her entire cell phone battery trying to get help from the Viator local office, to no avail. We finally gave up and got a taxi. Viator has always been great, so this is the only bad experience we have had in all our years of using Viator.
We were delayed slightly when disembarking. Our shuttle pickup was scheduled between 9:30 and 10 a.m. After walking through the entire line up of shuttles, at 10:01 we called the main number to find out shuttle was told we had missed it and had to wait another hour. We were, however, there on time. Very disappointing and had we not prepaid, we would have grabbed one of the waiting taxis. Then, driver didn't know where our destination was located.
A part dire que le minibus était à l'heure... dans une file que nous avons du remonter pour le chercher... mon prénom affiché sur un carton sur un siège -donc non visible aisément-... Je suppose que le conducteur était sourd/muet et certainement mécontent de la course à faire, car il n'a pas dit un mot : j'ai chargé nos bagages, il a fermé le coffre, nous sommes partis immédiatement à l'hôtel, il a ouvert le coffre, j'ai déchargé... fin..
