The guide was good, the venue was good, but... others in the group that had booked with other tour companies had the entry fees included in the tour price. Same guide, same tour, for 12 euro less. Be very careful as to what is "included" and "not included". This was more expensive than it should have been. Also, there what no indication of where to meet for the tour! Look for the orange and purple coats/umbrellas at the monument in the square... for all tours except those through the Alcazar itself.
We showed up for the tour, couldn't find the meeting spot or any guide. Directions on email were unclear. We managed to find a rep for Pancho tours in a gift shop who made several calls and attempts to get us on the tour, but wasn't able to decipher the meeting point either! Was told there was nothing to be done since the tour was not booked directly through Pancho. Ended up having to wait in non-pre-ticketed cue and pay for tickets and audio guide all over again. Not likely to rebook with Viator.
A great tour of the palace, including history, intrigue and general informaiton on daily life within the palace walls over the years. We especially appreciated that the tour was offered in multiple languages, since Spanish is not our native language. We hesitated to tour the palace on our own, since we thought we'd miss alot of details or rooms, so this was the perfect option. Glad there was time at the end to wander the grounds and see other parts of the gardens and outer buildings as well. Would definitely recommend.
