The tour guide Mikaela? was very intelligent and knowledgeable with the history and patiently guided us step by step from Colosseum to the Pantheon. The ear piece that we were wearing was also good. The information I heard from her was fantastic. I learned a lot considering this was our first time to tour these sites.
My wife and I took this tour in late August. The tour involves walking for extended period of time with no sun cover and is not wheelchair accessible. The throng of tourists makes it more difficult to keep navigate a larger group. I wanted to mention this since there were few older individuals in our group who were unable to complete the tour. My wife also felt that the tour was a little bit rushed but our guide was able to complete it in the stated time period.
We really enjoyed this tour which covered the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Pantheon. Our guide, whose name we have forgotten, was excellent and gave the group a lot of historical information about the three main sites as well as other places that we passed on the way to the three venues. We learnt a lot of information from the guide which we wouldn't have found out about if we had done the tour ourselves - and we didn't have to queue up either which was a big plus.
Wir 4 als Familie hatten quasi eine Privattour. Unsere Tourführerin war gebürtige Deutsche und somit toll zu verstehen. Kannte sich Geschichtlich sehr gut aus und hatte auf all unsere Fragen eine Antwort.
Judith was the tour guide and she was really kind and knowledgeable. With that said, there was an hour wait to get into the Colosseum, which clearly goes against the skip-the-line. Because of this, we had rushed through the bulk of the tour in order to get to the pantheon at the end. At the end of the day, I would recommend Judith, but the skip-the-line is misleading entirely. We noticed a large number of people actually skipping the line VS the groups that had to wait in line.
