Anna was a wonderful, informative and friendly guide. She is a history major and her knowlege with all the material showed in her tour presentation. It's a long tour, but so full of interesting sights and history, the time goes by quickly. The lunch was great too-- a pleasant surprise for me as I wasn't expecting much on a tour lunch. We met fun people and learned so much. Highly recommend this tour.
it was the best decision we made to do a day walking tour of prague which included a trip to the castle and the jewish quarter- very informative. the lunch and boat ride were also great. worth every cent and our guide Martellla was excellent. highly recommended
Our guide, Jan was a young man, very informed, who was a native of Prague. This was the last stop on our three week trip to Europe and we had been looking forward to seeing the city. This walking tour did not disappoint. It began at the Charles Bridge, wandered up to the Prague Castle area, then back down to and across the river to the historical Jewish neighborhood and ended in one of the beautiful squares. Jan's knowledge of his City and country, and the history of both, was extensive. Even though one leg of the tour involved a tram ride, we walked more than 4 miles, so be prepared. Jan had picked a restaurant near the end of the tour, and the lunch was fine. In honesty, the boat trip was only so-so. We would highly recommend this tour. At Jan's suggestion, the next day we went back to the Castle and purchased tickets for entrance to the Cathedral, St. George's Church, the Palace itself and other sites. Well worth it. This is a beautiful city and wish we could have spent more time. This tour gave us a real feel for this wonderful and historic place.
The tour was great. Lucy took us to most of the city around the St Charles Bridge along with telling us many interesting historical facts. The lunch tasted great - true Czech food I am half Czech. We also road the Tram when the walking distance was going to be too far.
