It was an amazing trip. Our driver and Guide Andrew was very informative and helpful. He stopped at the right place for toilet breaks and great places for a photo. He knew where to visit and how to go around problems e.g. too many tourists, traffics etc. The tour visited many national parks that are not advertised in the title, such as Loch Lomond and Cairngorms National Park. There are some places we could not visit, but this is due to time constraint. I think this is a great way for a first time Scotland visitors to explore Scotland before visiting again.
Friendly tour driver. Alan was flexible to the desires of the entire group and very friendly. He listened to all questions patiently and offered answers for the ones he could and was honest about the ones he didnt know, and would research these when able to.
Lots of sights. Wonderful weather, we were told many times we were extremely lucky to have 2 sunny days in a row
The quaint seaside village of Portree was stunning and full of local flavor. We had an excellent at Antlers Bar and Grill, the meal was amazing and our waiter was a lot of fun.
Dulse And Brose restaurant was top notch with a cozy feel to it and a food was presented beautifully.
We were blessed with sunny weather the whole tour and were able to so many beautiful sites on this trip, it was trully amazing. Sites we were able to visit were: Old Man of Stoor, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, Skye Museum of Island Life, Flora MacDonald's Memorial, Dunvegan Castle, Eilean Donan Castle, and Fort Augustus Loch Ness. Again, the weather was great so we were able to do a lot outside.
Our only complaint with this tour was we had a group on our bus that was late returning for most of the sites we visited so that held us up some. Another tour we went on was very clear on when the bus would be leaving and held to the schedule a bit better. But, all things considered, we loved this tour and would do it again given the chance. Timberbush Tours was great all around.
