This was the best experience of our entire trip to Portugal. Our guide Jacques was great and very knowledgeable. Each of the wineries we visited was unique and the wine was amazing. The Duoro Valley is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I would highly recommend this day trip. It shouldn't be missed!

John provided a wonderful, informative tour. The Valley was breathtaking, the wine divine, the port awesome, and the lunch delicious. What a great way to spend a day!

Expected this to be fun and beautiful and it WAS. Didn't expect it would be as great as it was though. The vinyards were great, so much fun, and the countryside was amazingly beautiful! A great lunch at one of the vinyards, a GREAT group and Steve was a great tour guide!

My husband and I had an amazing the time. The three vinyards were welcoming and informative. The lunch at Vintage Theory was delicious as well! Jorge was a wonderful guide and driver!

Steve was an excellent tour guide! He gave us lots of background information on multiple topics of interest and was really knowledgeable on the topics of the Douro Valley. This was our favorite excursion on our trip in Portugal and would recommend to any friend that this is the tour to go on.

Our tour with Steve to the Douro Valley was an experience we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The scenery was breathtaking and Steve was a most remarkable host. The group size was perfect and we all got a long so well. We visited three amazing wineries, learning about the grapes and the process of producing the wines and port. We ate together at a local restaurant which served delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine. Overall, it was a truly amazing and unforgettable day......so glad we made this a part of our trip to Portugal.

This tour is amazing from start to finish!! Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic and versatile overview of the Douro Valley region. Our guide, Steve, was really knowledgeable and friendly, making our day really great value. All of the wineries were fab each with fantastic views and port / wine. We learnt a lot, and you get a lot of tastings for your money, as well as a wonderful and plentiful lunch. Fab, fab, fab. Would go again tomorrow!

This was a great wine tour. We went on March 29 th...our last day in Porto. We were picked up at our hotel on time by our guide. The three wineries we went to were different, which we liked. The first, Quinto do Beijo, is a small family run winery passed down through generations. This was our favorite. We felt as if we were visiting someone's home and being hosted by family. The second one, Croft, was a much larger winery...still quite nice, and our tour guide added value to the wine tour experience. The third one, Fonseca, was a mid- sized winery...also quite nice. Lunch was included and was very satisfying . We had a great group of people on our tour, seven
guests in all...... A wonderful end to our Portugal vacation! If you are a lover of wine, port and nature, we highly recommend this tour!
