Te tour was wonderful. GREAT ride to Amalfi Coast. As for Pompeii I cannot say enough about your guide. Tititanna (I hope I got that right) was wonderful. She gave us a story about the city, people from before the volcano to the time it happened. Would recommend her as well as our driver. 5 stars to you.
We had a great guide and driver! Fabio was very helpful and knowledgeable. Fabio did have a cute way of saying Olives... so we were messing with him and told him the proper way to say. (not O-lives). The driver Salavtore was also great at getting thru the small roads. I also thought he was very handsome, wish we had more time to chat. We went as a group of four but I wanted to also do a review even though my Friend booked thru her Viator acct. I'm also a member on Viator but wasnt sure how to review something that was not under my bookings.
When our cruise ship was going to port in Naples, I knew I wanted to see the Amalfi coast specifically Positano and my husband wanted to see Pompeii. This tour was the perfect combination of both! Positano was STUNNING and so many of the other tours don't take you there... but its a MUST SEE! Sylvia was our guide and she was magnificent! She had so much knowledge to share while we were driving to our destinations and she's also the one who toured us through Pompeii! We obviously wish we had more time at each location, but there are only so many hours in port, and we maximized our time to the fullest! We highly recommend this tour, and Sylvia, too!
We had a great day with this tour. One highlight was that this tour goes to Positano which many tours from Naples do not and is well worth the trip alone. Positano is in the Almafi Coast and you will drive through mountain sides through winding roads until you reach this iconic Mountain View town. After you drive away from the Almafi Coast and go to Sorrento which is a larger nice must see town as well but more busy. Finally the tour goes to Pompeii which is the most popular place in the area. We had a great tour guide Luca who showed us around. The only downside is that Pompeii was later in the date and it was very hot in July so make sure you are prepared with proper attire. The tour was not packed, it was just me and my bf, and two other families and a solo traveler in a nice air conditioned bus. Would recommend it to all.
I just finished a 10 day Mediterranean cruise, with Norwegian Cruise Line, and I was in Naples for the day. When we got off the boat, Luca waited for us with a sign and took us to a smaller bus parked nearby. Once we got on the bus, he explained the history of the area, with some funny stories added and some cool facts. Our first stop was Positano for about an hour or so, where we walked around and had a coffee. Positano was really beautiful and the views fromt there were gorgeous. Luca gave us some pointers about where to go and what to do. Our second stop was Sorrento, and similarly had about and hour and 15 minutes. Luca recommeded a restaurant - Pizzeria Aurora Restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced. Sorrento again was very beaitiful and had lots of cute shops and restaurants. Afterwards, we went to Pompeii, and Luca again gave us a lot of historical background after the place and surrounding area. Pompeii was very interesting to see and I am glad I did.
Overall, Luca and Rosario the driver were really awesome and nice. Luca spoke very well English and is a Native of Napoli. Rosario is an excellent driver, navigating turns and narrow roads. I highly recommend this tour.
Our day went beautifully, thanks to the very experienced and professional guide! She gave terrific details about each stop on our full day excursion, and maximized the time we had at each location. She was particularly informative when we visited Pompeii - sharing wonderful historical info about every area we saw there. I would absolutely recommend this tour and this guide for anyone who only has one day to see this beautiful part of Italy!
Driver was not easy to locate first and was kind of rude, but later he was very nuce. Amalfi coast is really Positano, great views from the car and nice town with a not so nive beach.
Sorrento was nice, food was good but very limited time. Either you have lunchbor get to know the place.
Pompeii was amazing, the guide Silvia is very good and did a wonderfull job!
