The booking confirmation and first screen you click through with your ticket details omitted the fact that you had to be at the tour group offices prior. It was only on the 3rd screen of ticket details that this was given and when you're busy on holidays doing a bunch of things and tours, it was FAR too easy to miss. Due to this and the fact that the tour operator's phone number on the Viator website was wrong (I finally thought to google 'history shop tours' and got the right number' we had to pay 20Euros excess to be booked into the next tour. So by this time our 1 hour 10.15 to 11.15 tour was starting at 11... Then we were in security for half an hour and a lift queue for another 10 minutes. The tour itself was fantastic. Our Mexican tour leader was a lovely, knowledgeable woman and she told the various historical tales super well. We loved it. But by the time we were finished the tour with her, it was 12.45 and we had to be across town in an hour so we didn't get to stay up and enjoy the deck at leisure. A 1 hour tour, to me means a 1 hour tour. Much better to say "With security checks and lift wait times going up and back down again, allow for 2 hours for this tour." We were sad to have to then rush off, knowing the queue back down was going to be 30 mins, which it was. Great tour. Just needs more information, correct phone number for tour company and realistic time line. Thanks!
We signed up for the guided tour to the second level. When we were at the office the guide Ariel? told us that the site had a problem with an elevator and it would be a prolonged wait. The escort was very nice informed and was genuinely concerned to insure we were properly accommodated. I was very disappointed in the Tower management as they were very disorganized, never provided any information or updates and allowed an environment that could have erupted into Chaos. I was glad we were able to experience The Eiffel tower but unfortunately due to the time lost we missed other experiences
