This was a wonderful trip. The directions are so poor, and the boat hard to find, and we MISSED the boat on Saturday night. But were able to rebook for Tuesday and take the trip. The sparkling Eiffel tower with music is a truly special memory.
A simple map showing the boat location, or metro and taxi directions, would have made all the difference.
Loved this trip and thought it great value for money! Having been to Paris on business several times, my colleague and I wanted to see a few sights this time but combine with dinner as time was limited. We took the 2 hour tour which left within walking distance of our hotel and the Louvre so was really convenient. We booked the cheaper menu of the two and were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and wine - we had an aperitif, water and a bottle of wine for the two of us included in the price which was great as that can usually add up. Despite heavy rain all evening, we had a great view of all the key sights along the river as did all the tables. It wasn't very busy probably due to the time of year and weather but enough people for an atmosphere, which included a couple of larger family groups which we were pleased about as had been a bit worried it would all be romantic couples! There's no commentary but the waiter did give us a map and that was fine by us. We arrived in front of the Eiffel Tower just as it lit up which was a fabulous sight and both thoroughly enjoyed the trip which was just long enough to eat and be able to see the landmarks. Would highly recommend and much cheaper than the bigger Bateaux Mouches boats.
We absolutely loved this evening! The ship dining room was beautiful and we were seated next to a window. There were glasses of sparkling wine on our table, plus we received a bottle of wine to enjoy throughout he evening. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked! The service was prompt and very friendly. Because the ship traveled both ways on the Seine, we had good views of all of the monuments we passed. The Eiffel tower was stunning when it lit up!!
We had an absolutely wonderful time on the dinner cruise. It was great seeing Paris at night although the sun really does go down late in July. I think the most exciting part was going by the Eiffel Tower as the lights were dancing. The dinner was good and the service was excellent. The seating was little tight but we enjoyed the people sitting around us.
