Amazing. Do NOT eat before this tour - even if you arrive on an empty stomach, you will be absolutely stuffed by the time you finish. The tour guide was very interesting and told us all kinds of interesting tidbits throughout the walk. The food and drinks were all amazing!
The tour guide did not show up. No one communicated with my sons, whom I bought the tour for, and they had to call me at 3:20 am Pacific Time in the US to find out what was going on. I made several calls and found out the tour guide was not coming and my sons were left walking back to their hostel very let down. I will depend on Viator again for a booking.
What a fantastic afternoon!
Our guide, Eddie, met us right on time and led us on a spirited walk through the city.
We stopped for a fantastic lunch before heading to the hipster part of town to a local market that was unbelievable. There we sampled some magnificent local cheeses and some Reindeer sausage! After this we continued walking to a local pub where we sampled a number of local beers and an aquavit!
The tour was wonderful but completely enhanced by Eddie who shared the history of the city as we walked by. At the end of the tour, we said goodbye to a friend, not a tour guide, as this was such a fun afternoon!
The tour was carefully and well chosen tour the cost seems expensive when you book it compared to other European counties, but it is no more expensive than going out for dinner in Oslo so good value considering the lovely tour of Oslo you get, real Norwegian food and good beer and chixolate Loved it
this was a fabulous tour - exceeded our expectations! Our extremely informative tour guide took us to many parts of Oslo that we wouldn't have gotten to on our own - we experienced fantastic food and drink! Highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Oslo that would like to see bits of the city, experience some of the taste with a fabulous tour guide in a short amount of time. Thanks.
