We made reservations to eat at the Dine One restaurant at the top of the tower which made this a very fun experience. The restaurant treated us exceptionally well and the view was outstanding. The VIP or priority pass helped a lot. The restaurant only excepts reservations through open table online.
Cool, really a skip-the-line ticket, also no problem if you miss the time, they will let you in. However, two disadvantages: go to the group redeem ticket office at -1 level, where they will kindly give you the tickets in exchange for the vouchers. Nobody could help in where to exchange them, nobody even knew what viator is, and what the hell is in my mail, where to get the tickets, etc. Two people adviced us to join the line, which was awfully long, so we decided to get a third opinion, and that third guy only said: let's give it a try at the group ticket office - which was a right idea! So please viator, give a better description to the voucer where shall we redeem the tickets! Also, another disadvantage, although just a small, is that the ticket is not for between 5-6:45PM early evening admission, it is for exactly 5PM, and however the crew of One World will let you in, they would be more happier if you could go there for the start of the timespan.
The day was heavy fog, rain and snow so we saw absolutely nothing. Once up there not really much happening or anything to do. Lacks appeal other than the view which we didn't see. Waste of 100 USD. We couldn't reschedule as we had only that day. The venue quite inflexible to give a giftcard or something for another time as we are from Canada.
Over rated. Skip the line for the ticket but line up for to get to the observatory 15- 20 min.
My wife liked it, I really, really didnt like it. I thought it a place to be avoided. After you buy the tickets the it takes a long to get to the observation floor. There were so many people that it was hard to get the window.
Why I think the place should be avoided is that there is no /little information on the spectacular view. I paid 15 for the one world explorer ipad. They didnt give out earphone so everyone had the sound blaring on different views. The app did not have enough point of interest and you couldnt select items that you wanted for more information...There was only a limited list. They observatory depends on the app and the app simply is terrible.
AVOID, dont bother.
