It was a fantastic experience. The guide was super knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. But most of all she was passionate and enthusiastic. Well versed in the city and culture. Would recommend to anybody
I'd definitely recommend this tour. I assumed that because it was a Street Food Tour that the guide would perhaps throw in the occasional snippet of information whist walking round, this was not the case - she was very knowledgable and gave us an incredible experience throughout. As for the food, we had 5 stops - all food was paid for. Stops were Mozzarella and Palma ham, Pizza Fritte, Deep fried pasta parcels, Limoncello and finally, Ice Cream. There was plenty of food. Tour lasted about 2 hours. Located outside a very easy to get to metro station which was a 20 min walk from the cruise port.
This is a great tour of Naples streets. Alex was an excellent tour guide and made the tour very enjoyable. The food was great and I highly recommend. We were on a cruise ship, we walked to the Metro (short distance) and took the Metro to our meeting point. Alex was on time and everything went smooth. After the tour, we had time to shop and enjoy Naples on our own before returning to the ship.
Amazing experience. We had the best tour guide and unfortunately we only spent one day in Naples. This tour made me wish I had booked a few more days because it was such a good experience. I will definitely book this tour again next time I am in Naples.
Our guide was very knowledgeable on Naples history while taking us to all of the local places. One place mozzarella was closed the day of my tour but she made it up with a different stop. Recommended for doing something different.
Our group of 5 including two kids 13 and 9 took this tour in late April. It was our first time to Naples and while we expected good pizza, coffee etc... the best part of the tour was our guide, Alex. Friendly and knowledgeable, with great English, Alex blended insights about the food with really interesting history. We really appreciated his commentary about the city's daily life and culture, both past and present, and this helped us better appreciate Naples' dynamic and charmingly grimy street scene. He even had the kids paying attention. Foodwise, the rum baba stood out. Culturally, I loved having stand up espresso looking at the 'shrine' to Diego Maradona.
An absolutely fantastic tour, couldn't recommend more. A great way to see some of the key history around the centre of Naples - whilst enjoying all of the local delicacies you can stomach! The fried pizza was our personal favourite and certainly not what was expected. Don't miss out on this tour if you have time spare whilst in Naples!
