Our trip to Dachau was very well organized and we had a great guide who had an under grad degree in history and post grad degree in archiology. He was very knowledgeable. The trip was rushed at some points but on our own we would not have received the volume of information our guide shared! A true historical experience!
Trip was wonderful. Tour guide Jeff was excellent - very informative and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the pace and thought the amount of time spent there was sufficient. Truly enjoyed an would highly recommend. thank you.
Mark was an excellent tour guide. This trip was especially good for those who do not have extensive knowledge of Dachau and the concentration camp system. I did learn some things I didn't know. I wish there had been more pictures of what the camp and the interned people looked like when freed. I felt the camp itself looked like a nice, clean garden. I realize it is now a memorial and not a concentration camp, but I felt it was a little too pristine.
Our guide certainly knew his content about Dachau. He was conscientious to keep us together, to make sure we all got on the train, then bus to the location. It was an eye-opening experience to the horror of Hitler!
Very moving experience. Our guide had a degree in WWII history so was incredibly knowledgeable, yet able to explain things to those of us who are not experts. Cant say enough good things about him. If there was any little negative on the tour it would be that the group size be a bit smaller. It would make it easier to hear when youre in the back of the group and not make trains/buses so crowded. Definitely a tour to do if you get a chance.
