We were picked up right on time. All attractions were timed and perfect in the amount allowed. Water was provided. Our driver was wonderful, gave history and even made us an appointment at a local hammam which was amazing. This tour was a highlight of our entire holiday!
We were taken by the tour guide to carpet shop yesterday 26/9, it took quite a lot of time of having the carpet shop showing us about 15 pieces of carpets. Later, we were driven to a herb shop, we got to pay 4760 kr for some dried leaves/herbs, few skin care, 1 bottle argan oil. I ask them to list down the items with prices but they refused to do so. Remember to ask for the prices for every item you wish to buy. In Sweden, all prices and the weight of the goods are clearly stated, and I don't feel good at all for this trip!
Great tour and good way to see Marrakech if only have a short time. Our guide Abdul was excellent, taking us around the sites at our own pace and leaving us to wander on our own when we wanted.
Be aware that whatever tour you go on you are likely to be offered an opportunity to buy a carpet and Argan oil we were and did - although if not interested just let them know and move on. We quite enjoyed the experience although can imagine it might not be for everyone.
Mohammed our driver was also excellent so would be happy to use them both again.
I was surprised that we only got driver with this tour, but our driver called private guide and for additional 30 we had an excellent tour of the old city. Our guide Abdul was very knowledgeable and had sense of humor as well. We really enjoyed the whole experience.
This tour started well with our guide and driver both friendly and engaging and interested in showing us the sites. Please be mindful that you will need additional monies to pay your entrance fees and for animal rides. The visit to the Médina through the back streets is interesting but you will be taken to various shops where the owners will do their best to sell you their products, slightly pushy but they are polite. The one sour point at the end was a 45 minute wait for the driver to collect us after the visit to the Médina and he didnt arrive so we had to pay to get a taxi home, not a great end to what was a good tour.
This is the best tour in Marrakech for first time visitors, we were more than happy with our tour guide, Hassan, he spoke english and had a background in geography and history. Hassan met us at our Riad and we went over the itinerary, once we agreed on a route easy, off we went. We visited the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle Graden... and went on a camel tour. The fact that we ride on a van from place to place is great because we were traveling with our daughters. Hassan knowledge of the background in each visit was exceptional and made it even more interesting. He was also flexible on changing the route and stoping at an ATM, no problem. Sweetest guide ever.
