We are very happy to choose this trip. Honestly we went to malta on a very impulsive trip and did not have a chance to research a lot. But we know we want to go to Gozo and Blue Lagoon. Choosing this trip was indeed the best decision, because we can easily go to the places we want with a whole lot facilities and of course an amazing crew. I will definitely recommend this to anyone.
The real price is the one which results from adding 15 euros to the base price as you have to pay the speed bota to visit the caves and also the bus to city centre in Gozo. The trip to GOZO city centre should have a real guide capable of explaining history and interesting facts
Caves, Comino and Blue Lagoon are very nice places to be visited and spent time. However we haven't seen anything special in Gozo and we think that three and a half hours there are waste of time. If the tour was shorter (with two hours in Gozo) then in our opinion would be much better!
I liked this trip very much. Even though it was a bit of a hassle to take public transport to the departure point Bugibba from my hotel (Hornblower did not offer pick up here) the trip itself was very good. The staff were very nice and very informative. Despite what you might read Blue Lagoon on Comiino is not a snorkeling spot; it is a sandy lagoon with very few fish and coral. Nevertheless the swim was good and the boat had a slide into the water, etc. Hornblower had an add-on of a powerboat trip to caves for 10 euro; it was worth it as the caves were very impressive. On Gozo there was also an add-on of 5 euro for a minibus tour of 4-5 sites. It was worth it as otherwise walking in the port for 3 hours would have been very limited. There are many choices for trips from Malta to Comino and Gozo but this one seemed to offer the most for the money.
