Chef Issi was very knowledgeable, personable and fun. We enjoyed the trip around town foraging for ingredients followed by a fun, hands-on class in his home. The experience as a whole was very authentic and the end product was delicious!

The chef picked my wife and I up right near the cruise port shortly after our arrival. We went shopping for ingredients and sampled some fresh tortillas. There was only one other person in the class with us. We were able to prepare, cook, and eat many different dishes. The food was incredible and we mad our own margaritas to accompany our food. I highly recommend this class.

Our tour guide met us at the agreed upon location and time. Our group had 4 persons. We had a large comfortable van to travel in. We made 4 stops to pick up supplies for our meal. The meal was hands-on and very educational. We enjoyed a great meal and drinks at the end. Our tour guide brought us back to the meeting point afterward. I have no hesitation recommending this event.

Wow! We made the best Mole I have ever had. Also made a stuffed Chili Relleno with big flavor and great presentation as well as other tasty side dishes. Chef Issi has got the gift! I am only sorry that I didn't know he does a chef's table. I would have scheduled it but it was my last day in Mexico. Thank you for what you have taught me, Chef Issi! My friends and I will enjoy it for a long time to come!

Issi and family were amazing hosts. This is s a special event if you are lucky enough to get a spot in this class. Issi, a trained chef imparts not only Mexican charm but the history of Cabo and shared spices and food with other cultures. We shopped where the locals go and then went to Issi's family home with a full commercial kitchen where we created amazing tamales and the best margaritas. My 13 year old even had fun with me and two other couples 2 friends and a husband and wife. Great won't regret it.

This was a very fun experience. Chef Issi took us to local specialty markets for some of the ingredients for lunch. We are staying in a condo in the general area where we shopped so I have gone back to several of the markets already. We pressed our own tortillas and made some amazingly good pork skewers. A fun adventure for me while my husband went out on an ATV adventure.

Chef Issi was fabulous. 3 couples from Texas took this class along with a couple from Wisconsin. Everyone was blown away with the whole experience. From shopping for local ingredients to preparing our delicious lunch in Chef Issis home, it was a great experience. We highly recommend it and will do it again when we return to beautiful Cabo.

I loved this tour. Issi picked us up at the mall as indicated and on time. 8 of us went shopping and then to his home to prepare the meal.Both food and historical information were given and added to the whole experience. Two thumbs up to Issi and Lucy for a excellent day.

This was a terrific experience! Issi Jr. and Issi Sr. were wonderful teachers and guides about Mexican cooking and culture. If I was staying longer I would have done another course because the meal cooked varies based on the day of the week Issi has an Al Pastor rotisserie in his outdoor kitchen in the back deck!. The recipes are easy enough to make that you can replicate them back home and they will come out great. We made the best chicken tamales I have ever eaten.

An incredible tour. Chef Issi took us to markets spice, vegetable, meat, tortilla, etc we never would have gone to and he bought ingredients for our lunch. He then took us to his home where he prepared margaritas with a little help from us and then we made all sorts of appetizers, salsas and main dishes, He prepared dessert for us which was delicious and was accompanied by a spun sugar ball. His wife was with us doing clean up and after awhile his children came home. Such fun, so yummy and a wonderful experience. We would definitely do it again.
