Very well organised trip. The open topped bus courier, Dominic, was really good and interesting. My Grandchild felt they learnt a lot and adults enjoyed the banter, with plenty of laughs on the way. The travel from bus to boat and boat to Harrods was very well organised. Harrods Cream Tea was the icing on the cake. Everything went smoothly and was enjoyed by the whole family. Have recommended to friends and we will do other trips in future.
Such a super afternoon with driver Christian and tour guide Steve Maynard. Steve was both whitty and informative all the way round and Christian expertly negotiated some last minute road closures and adapted the tour.
The river cruise was a highlight with a lovely afternoon tea gluten free was also catered for. Would highly recommed this as a good value afternoon out.
On arrival at gate 0 at Victoria coach station it was a bit unorganised it seemed . But once on the bus it was great Adrain the tour guide was very informative and had great knowledge of London .
Even getting the Driver to go around again At some of the sights to make sure we did not miss anything.
By the time we go to the bus, the top was full, and we and a few other people had to sit on the bottom. You can't see everything the tour guide is talking about or take good pictures from the bottom. The tour guide was very funny and knowledgeable. He pointed out things that we might want to go look at on our own such as London's oldest church. Out of the whole group that went on the cruise, only 5 couples paid for the afternoon tea service. Unfortunately, all of the tables are not at the windows. Most were in the middle. We had to sit in the middle so we didn't get the best pictures. Since we paid a premium price for the cruise. I would have expected a window seat. We go to sit on top of the bus on the way back but there are not very many interesting sights on the way back to the station. After the tour, we did eat at The Albert pub recommended by the guide as the best fish and chips in London. The chips are not crispy like other pubs make them that I have eaten with. The fish was very crispy on the outside but not seasoned at all.
