I booked this trip as part of my husband’s and my honeymoon. We wanted to see LA without the hassle of worrying about how to get round. Matt was our tour guide/driver and he was brilliant. He kept us entertained all the way to LA from Vegas. It was a long journey but worth it to see all the sights. We got to see Santa Monica beach, the walk of fame, Beverley hills and much more. It’s a long trip but definitely worth it. Well recommended!
Had a great time. David A was our tour guide. He met me downstairs and offered water, juice and muffins right off the bat. We picked up the rest of the tourists and headed down to Santa Monica. The ocean was wonderful. Such beautiful colors. It we a great wake up after driving from Vegas. We then headed to Hollywood and did tours there. He was such a great tour guide telling us so much information and having cool music to match all the views we were seeing. We ended with the Hollywood sign and then drove back. He made the drive seem so fast. I will definitely come back and request a tour from him again.
Long day but worth the visit to LA. Tour guide was not as chatty as expected and spent more time listening to music. At one point as I started a conversation with the guy, he was more interested in making a card payment for personal use and I felt I was a inconvenience!! Nice guy but got the impression he'd rather have been elsewhere. We won't mention the point when the car went out of control, as that was scary!!!
My husband and I had the opportunity to that a one day tour to Hollywood. Our driver David Archibeque was fantastic. We were treated like family from the very start. David is very knowledgeable about the area and also the surrounding area. He made this trip relaxing, interesting and most of all FUN. Thank you again David for the day and letting us take group picture. If we are ever in the area again we will be in contact with onedaytours.
Let me tell you.....Uncle Dave was AMAZING!!!! He should win the award for best tour guide in the world. He has such a refreshing spirit and welcoming personality. Anybody would feel comfortable being with him for a FULL day. Uncle Dave made sure he was attentive to us and kept us alert the whole trip there and back. He has a humbling spirit and would do ANYTHING to make your day as amazing as it could possibly be. My husband and I had a friend who lived in LA and he took time out of the trip to let us meet with him for a bit and he also went to get me Starbucks coffee on Hollywood because it was too hot for me to walk. I honestly can say that I miss him and can definitely call him a forever friend. I will hunt to find any tour that he is leading and book instantly!!!!!!!!!
I totally recommend this day tour. It is an intimate tour with about 7 people. Our tour guide was David and he was full of knowledge about California and was a lot of fun!! Santa Monica pier was really nice, we could have stayed all day! Overall, everything was just great and we really enjoyed it!!
Amazing trip and fantastic value for money! Uncle Dave made the long drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles highly entertaining and informative. This was my first time in the states and I'm so glad I picked this tour made memories that will last for a lifetime! Great people, great tour guide and a great time, just book it! :
This trip was absolutely nothing short of amazing. I confirmed my reservation when we landed in Las Vegas so as not to forgot to do it! The staff answering the phone were extremely courteous and pleasant and my pick-up time was confirmed for 5:50 am. We were promptly greeted by our driver, Trisha, who was very warm and welcoming - she immediately offered my mother and I a bottled water and told us we would be making one more stop to pick up 4 people and at this time she would go over everything. At this time Trisha explained our stops and also advised if we needed a stop to please let her know. We had a blast on the way to LA Trisha was fun and a wealth of knowledge and offered us snacks and treats in the van along with more water! It was like going on a trip with family. Our first stop was the Santa Monica Pier which we had approximately 1 1/2 hours to enjoy from here it was on to Hollywood! Trisha took us down Rodeo Drive by Bel Air and Sunset Blvd then on to some see some celebrity homes such as the Playboy Mansion, Lucy Ball's house to name a few then. She dropped us then off at the gardens and fountain in Beverly Hills for photos and told us to take our time as parking is difficult in this area she texted me and told me to just text her back when we were all ready to be picked up which was great. Traveling with a group of 6 made the trip easy and enjoyable. Once back in the van Trisha gave us 3 options for lunch which was included and was nice enough to point out the options of each restaurant and we all wanted to go to Andre's the oldest pizzeria in Hollywood this was also a short walk away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We walked into the restaurant and immediately sat down and the food was ready, we all ate together and were then off to discover Hollywood. We had approximately 1 1/2 hours to explore Hollywood which was more than enough time. It was a steamy hot day so, again the 6 of us happen to meet up toward the end by luck and I texted Trisha we were ready for a pick-up it was easy and effortless. From here we now headed to the Hollywood sign in the Hills which was an amazing drive through the hills again Trisha was so accommodating and told us to take our time and take all of the pictures we need....the views were breathe taking this was the last of our stops. This trip is a long day as all of the reviews indicated as LA traffic is hectic but, our driver Trisha made a long day a wonderful memorable experience for all of us. The day did not drag, we had more than enough time at each stop and the information shared along the way was fantastic! I highly recommend this trip and this tour company. I know I will be heading back to Vegas next year again and will definitely book another trip with this company and also ask for Trisha as she was so much fun and made it an exciting adventure. On a separate note, I lost a ring I bought while in Vegas and did not notice it until I got back to my hotel late that evening - I texted Trisha who immediately answered me - I told her what happened and she texted her boss who would be driving the van we were in the following day and have him check to see if the ring was in the van. The following day Trisha's boss found my ring, sent me a picture of where it was and is actually mailing it to me - who does that? An amazing honest tour company and staff to go along with it - thank you-thank you!!!!
