Our tour guide, Alvin, picked us up promptly at the hotel and gave us a verbal history of Las Vegas as we headed to the Hoover Dam. He was very accommodating during the entire morning. The Hoover Dam is definitely a “must see” attraction while in the area. Simply amazing. I wish we had had time for the longer tour. We took the 4 hour morning tour and round trip it ran about 4.5 hours. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful experience!! Our guide from start to finish kept the party informed on every aspect of the tour. The Hoover Dam did not disappoint. The facts and figures regarding the Dam are staggering considering the all the work was carried out in the 1930's
Would advise anybody to visit the Hoover Dam. .
Our tour guide, Tony, was great. He gave us information about the area on the way to the Dam, as well as when we got there. We made 2 stops for pictures before we got to the Dam.He dropped us off right at the entrance and got the tickets for us. It was nice to be in a small group. We had plenty of time to take the power plant tour, then wander around to look at the exhibits and the museum. Just the right amount of time. Make sure to choose the moring tour. The afternoown traffic getting in was backed up forever.
Overall good tour an tour guide, however everyone was rushed and ran out of time to see inside the dam tour. Part of this was the guide allowed small vocal members of the tour to dictate the order and what is seen. With hindsight the guide who is supposed to know the Hoover dam, schedules, traffic loads should of had the group take the dam power plant tour first. As is we we all were rushed and this was a management contollable
Jim, our tour guide was excellent and Hoover Dam is an amazing site to behold. The only confusing part is that we were waiting for Viator to pick us up, and Jim was out there in a G tour van. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for Viator when they called and told us that G tour would be picking us up. Why didn't they tell me that when they called to confirm tour?
