Great tour with a great guide. Had a mid-size group of people, which made getting around and coordinating everything so much easier than larger tours. While a couple of places require a decent amount of walking, the only relatively strenuous item was the crater. if going with an elderly person, depending on their health and fitness level, will take while to complete the course, but it is doable. The foot spa was delicious - what a treat! And we were lucky to be able to see the Haenyeo performance singing a song and going into the water to gather seaweed since it is weather dependent.
Truly wonderful time in beautiful Jeju. Felt a bit sorry for the host Ms. Kim to spend her time on New Year's day to accompany us and bringing us the East Side of the island, but she was awesome. All the scenic spots was amazing and memorable, though require some walking, like climbing onto the volcano crater - quite a few steps but not so bad for a healthy person, exploring Asia's largest volcano lava tube that showcase the power of nature, and walking around historical village that followed with a huge lunch. There were also activities that did not require much walking, like the Korea style foot spa and coffee at the Woljeongri beach. I consider the beach the highlight of the day. The cafe we picked has a full window facing the ocean and that asp serves delicious coffee, and the beach is like a scene from a Korean romance drama. This is a place that is worth to stay a full day. Due to the holiday, we were not able to see the haneyo, but we got to pick some local tangerines. Highly recommend this for anyone vacationing in Jeju
The tour is very informative and well arranged. We managed to visited few places tho the itinerary was a bit tight. The lunch is delicious! It is a nice choice if traveling alone and would like to explore more in one day. The transportation is not very convenient in Jeju, thus it's far much better to have a guide and private car traveling around.
