This is a great tour and after the sanctuary stop you feel you just want be dropped off rather than continue to Mt Wellington, but the trip is well worth it. Gorgeous views from the top of Mt. Wellington. Mt. Field with the beautiful waterfalls and giant gum trees was also an incredible experience. Of course our guide Clint added lots to the experience.
The trip was amazing! We saw a lot of interesting and beautiful places. Our guide was a really cool guy with a lot of knowledge. He was really friendly, patient and well explaining. At the Bonorong Wildlife Sancturary we had a quick tour. They told us about their activities, about the animals. We had the opportunity to see tasmanian devil feeding, baby wombats and baby kangaroos. It is an amazing place.
The trip was really great! I recommend it. We had a very good time.
The tour will take you too a local bakery for a quick breakfast (you may also need to buy lunch from here for later). For a short walk, you will see two different falls, amazing tall trees, amazingly rare fungus everywhere ! Kangaroo feeding was interesting ans Mount Wellington was spectacular !
