The tour was great overall!! However, beware viator has misleading information. We were not able to walk the rope bridge in the north from game of thrones. If you check the official paddy wagons website, you will get a much better itinerary. I went on the backpackers tour, the hostels were nothing to brag about. I recommend the Bed and Breakfast tour. Rori was our tour guide and he was amazing!! I would recommend this tour to anyone!
Truly stress-free. Everyday is PACKED with exciting things to do as well as must see item that were on my list. I was skeptical at first since I was traveling alone but there was a lot of group interactions and dinners. Our tour guide, Ruairi was a perfect man for the job, hysterical and a heart of gold.
This trip was one of the most amazing I have ever been on. Paddywagon did a great job of giving you a display of the wonders Ireland has to offer. I had Rory as a tour guide he does this tour often and he gave incredible recommendation at each stop and answered any question you had. I booked this trip for myself not wanting to be stressed with planning and it was exactly what I wanted. It's not necessarily designed to be catered towards younger people, though I will say it works out best for a younger 18-28 year-old crowd.
This has by far been our favorite vacation ever! The tour is amazing! Of course, we could have spent more time at several places, but this is a 6 day tour and you can only see so much. It is well organized and you get to see A LOT! Rory was our guide and I can't say enough good things about him. Entertaining, funny, and on top of things. Made sure we were taken care of from morning until evening - including pubs to visit each night. He can also maneuver a bus like nobody's business! We took the bed and breakfast option. If you are looking for fancy accommodations, this isn't going to be the tour for you. If you want cozy place to stay and really feel the Ireland experience, this is it! You will also make some amazing new friends. I highly, highly recommend this tour!
If you normally like to do your own itinerary, but are pressed for time, and if you are North American reluctant to learn to drive on the 'wrong' side of winding, narrow Irish country roads, then this trip will work wonderfully. You can't do everything in Ireland in 6 days, but this covers lots of the bucket list biggies. Particularly impactful for me were the Black cab and walking tours along the Protestant / Catholic or should I say Catholic / Protestant divide walls of Northern Ireland in Belfast and Londonderry respectively. Power through the Titanic exhibit, however, as the 2 hours given are not enough in a museum that can easily use up 4. The same applies to the Guiness museum at the end of the tour. But the Dark Hedges, the Giants Causeway, the Cliffs of Mohar, lthe Yeats Memorial, and the Blarney Castle: it's all there. The rest is the fabulous Irish countryside where you think just can't get more green, or more rustic, or more beautiful, and then you get to the Ring of Kerry region, and it does. I'd like to put a special plug in for Brian, our bus driver who knows his Irish geography and history well enough to know when to speak on it, and when to give periods of quiet. Good guy all around, and one of the best elements of the trip. The tour has left strong positive memories with me that will stick with me the rest of my days.
Malcolm was our tour guide for the whole six days, and he was absolutely wonderful! Beyond knowledgeable on all of Ireland's history and each little town we went through. Always had plenty to share and tons of great stories about everything and that's definitely what made this tour so special and enjoyable. Also, he definitely made a conscious and genuine effort to ensure that everyone was having a great time and seeing and doing what they wanted to do.I'd say he went above and beyond as a tour guide throughout the six days! As for the trip, very extremely definitely and absolutely worth it. I only wish I had more time and days to spend in each town and to see more. I guess I'm just going to have to come back again!
I was on the All-Ireland 6-Day tour with my daughter from Sept 11-16. Our tour guide/driver/entertainment director/man Friday was Freddie aka Shakiria. Freddie was awesome. He kept us entertained at all times with his wit and gave us a history lesson in an amusing but informative way. Freddie made dining arrangements and recommendations that were spot on. The destinations and stops along the way were all great and the B and B accommodations were top notch save for the one in Belfast. .. Taps I think it was, although I''ve stayed in far worse. The pace was fast and Freddie kept us on schedule. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
