Super excursion!!!! I highly recommend this trip with the Passions of Paradise Crew. They were fantastic, friendly, courteous, helpful and went above and beyond to make our trip successful. We saw amazing reef vies when snorkeling. Our guide would stop and tell us what we were seeing. We saw shark, clams, puffer fish, parrot fish, and clown fish yes, Nemo to name a few. They even fed us snacks and a delicious lunch. It was one of the best experiences of our lives!!!! Thank you Passions Crew!
We were all packed like sardines on the boat and if you wanted a seat in a particular area you can forget it. I've taken a few tours using Viator and this is the only time i've been disappointed. Book less people and charge more... If you are the type who does not want to be within earshot of 5 different conversations and does not want to fight for comfortable seating for the entire trip please don't book this tour. Its not a cruise it is a crammed boat ride.
The trip to Barrier Reef was a great experience! Seeing all the wildlife with corals, fish and turtles produced unforgettable memories. The crew took very well care of us! They gave us interesting and sound infos about marine life, good food, snorkeling or diving equipment and made everybody feel save and welcome. Everything was well organized, thus we could relaxe and enjoy the trip. If you plan to head out to Barrier reef starting in Cairns: take this team!
This cruise was hyped as luxury. Well I think they need to revise that. We were crammed with over 80 people on this catamaran. In addition cold water was 3 a bottle and not included in the price even though lunch was. In addition you have to wear a wet suit. There are too many jellyfish at the reef. This too is an extra charge. Overall after spending around 130.00 per person and then getting dinged for extras that should have been included feeling a bit ripped off.
