from the moment we were welcomed onto the boat we had the most amazing day! The staff were friendly, fun and helpful whist still being professional and ensuring safety at all times. The snorkelling was out of this world-everything we hoped and more!!we had 21/2 hours at each island which was plenty of time. The food and drink was lovely and plentiful and Tommy’s singing on the way back brought it to a perfect end! Would highly recommend! Thank you Down Under Dives and Viator.
What an eye opening experience! I dove and snorkeled, and it's hard to say which I preferred. The number and color of different fish was practically unlimited, only matched by the variety of reef. And according to my dive instructor, it wasn't even a good day!I was very pleased with the staff of Down Under tours, and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in taking a trip.
The Down Under Company and Crew are exceptional! Very helpful and attentive! Super Nice! They are very nice and helpful. Lunch was good and very good variety.. Now the Viator scheduler is less than ideal. If the Viator scheduler would have asked 4 or even 2 simple questions regarding your dive, you would have the time of your life. You are NOT allowed to scuba dive if have epilepsy, Diabetes, or a Seizure Disorder. Common Diseases not allowed to dive. Understandable... but if Viator would ask 1 More question.. when are you flying? If you are flying 12 hours or less from your first dive, guess what, you can't scuba dive! So I paid for a scuba dive and got nothing! I will be Working on a reward for the scuba dive vs. just going out on the boat for a day on the reef.
The crew was very knowledgeable and gave a good orientation. I felt comfortable using the snorkeling equipment and felt safe in the water. The beauty of the fish and coral is beyond description - truly a "bucket list" experience. I tend to get seasick, but took medication an hour before the boat left and did not have any problem. The biscuits they serve with breakfast will also help settle your stomach. Put your sunscreen on before you put your bathing suit on, and make sure you include the back of your legs/lower buttocks, or you can gets a nasty sunburn where you sit! The food was good. Best part was Tommy T-bone, who cooked our steak Texas style just for us, and later serenaded us playing his guitar and singing songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Made the return trip a lot of fun.
