Girona was such a unique city and had so much history. My husband watches Game of Thrones, so he was happy to get to see some of the places where it was filmed. The Costa Brava area was beautiful. We had lunch and walked right along the sea. Our tour guide was very informative and made sure to find places we would like to see. It was such a fun day and we have beautiful pictures from the area.
Our tour guide Vicente and driver Joaquin were very good, we were a group of seven and had a wonderful day. We walked Girona and Vicente was very good with all the explanations and then we went to a small medieval townof Pals and then Calella de Palafurgell a fishermans town very pretty for lunch. We loved our tour..
This was a very fun tour. The tour guide did a great job explaining everything. If you're a Game of Thrones fan, you'll love seeing where they filmed multiple episodes. Also, the beach was beautiful, lunch was good, and the amount of time we spent in each place was perfect. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get out of Barcelona for a day.
our tour was very small group of 6. Miguel our tour guide was amazing, we were the only english speakingcouple and he made sure to explain everything to us about the sites. make sure and bring plenty water and comfy walking shoes as you will be walking alot for this tour. i would def. do this tour again my husband and i had a great time. much love from New York - Sarah and Steven
We visited Girona and Pals; two older cities. Mateus, our guide, was excellent and provided good historical context for what we saw. There were some steep streets and stairs to climb at all locations. This is not a tour for those who have mobility problems. The main drawback was the long drive to get to the sites. Of our ten hour tour about 4-5 hours was spent on travel. We had an eight person group which was ideal. Mateus made reservations for us at a restaurant on the Costa Brava which had a beautiful ocean view and good reasonably-priced food. Unfortunately just before we arrived, the skies opened up and we had to sit inside but we all had a good time. There was plenty of time for shopping at all three stops. Although the travel was long, it was interesting to get out of Barcelona and see the countryside and some small Spanish towns. I even learned that Spain is a large producer of apples and rice.
