What a great time we had at the two wineries we visited. Guama (James) our driver was super nice and had such a great knowledge of everything going on. He made the ride a fun with typical Spanish music. The people working at the wineries were nice and very approachable. They made sure everyone understood all parts of the tours and the cavas and wine tasting was out of this world. The tapas were delicious and it was such a homey feel to everything. I would definitely reccommend this tour.
This was 100 worth it with the cellar tours at both farms, the 4x4 trip and all the cavas, wines and delicious snacks. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. If you are wondering my advice would be - Just do it!
That was an amazing tour! At the arrival the owner of the winery welcomed us. The local guides were very knowledgable and I learned many new things I didn't know about wine production. They offered us plenty of very good local tapas and a wide variety of wines and cavas. I lost the count of how many glasses they gave us :. The best part for me was the tour around the vineyards with classical Jeeps, an authentic experience!! I really reccomend this tour to all wine lovers, worthy the money.
We were only two people on the trip and were lucky to receive maximum attention! The trip was a true highlight: fantastic scenery, talented and friendly guides on the spot, lovely jeep ride and of course great wines and cava accompanied by carefully picked snacks! Special great thanks to our driver and main guide David who's knowledge and friendliness made us discover a lot new about Catalonia. PS His German is fantastic too!
A most excellent experience to beautiful wine country. Our driver was very knowledgeable and so was the guide at the winery. It was a cool day and they provided blankets if needed for the jeep tour. The wine was excellent and the cava tour was extremely fascinating. I really enjoyed the small size of the tour.
Delightful tour. The four by four drive through the first vineyard with its views of the countryside was a unique experience and gave us a perspective that one rarely gets when visiting a winery. Seeing more than a million bottles of cava stored in racks in the underground corridors of the second winery was an equally unique experience. The tour guides at each of the wineries were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and eager to share their love of wine and the wine tastings were both interesting and generous.
The short ride from Barcelona to the vineyards was as promised in a small comfortable Mercedes bus and We Barcelona tour guide, Suzanne, a gracious and knowledgeable host, made sure that everything went smoothly.
The outing was well worth the money and won't disappoint.
